8 and Counting: Jackson State Outclasses Florida A&M in 68-53 Victory

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Jackson State Lady Tigers have done it again! They have secured their 8th straight win and brought the Florida A&M Lady Rattlers to their knees with a 68-53 loss. It was a sight to behold as the Lady Tigers came out roaring, setting the tone for the rest of the game.

Halftime saw the Lady Tigers ahead by a comfortable 33-20 lead and they continued to pour on the pressure in the second half, outscoring the Lady Rattlers 35-33. Ti’lan Boler led the charge with a whopping 19 points, proving that she’s a force to be reckoned with on the court.

The Lady Tigers’ stats spoke for themselves as they shot 41% from the field and 52% from the free throw line, putting up 1.03 points per possession and a 46% true shooting. On the other hand, the Lady Rattlers struggled to find their rhythm and had a disappointing 21-of-55 from the field, 4-of-19 from three, and 0.81 points per possession on 44% true shooting.

Both teams have little time to rest, as they face their next opponents on Feb. 13. The Lady Tigers will head to Bethune-Cookman to continue their winning streak, while the Lady Rattlers will host Alcorn State, looking for a chance to recover from this loss.
